It appeared—quietly—on the wall, as if it had always been there. A curve of olive green, gently bending forward, not asking for attention but refusing to be ignored. In its center, an orange square—vivid, unmoving, like a symbol from a language no longer spoken.
The piece seems to hover between dimensions, its wavering form crafted from humble cardboard, painted in deliberate, unwavering strokes of acrylic. Its presence questions the flatness of the wall behind it, and maybe, too, the certainty of space.
You measure it to understand it:
14½″ wide × 5½″ high × 8¼″ deep (37 × 14 × 21 cm)
But knowing its dimensions won’t make it less enigmatic.
